Welcome

The Young Family Band was formed years ago in the small and closely knit community of Moira located just 15 minutes north of Belleville, Ontario. Brad and Jeff Young are brothers that have been singing and playing country and bluegrass with their family from children to present.

Brad and Jeff have played many performances with their parents Gary and Alberta in the Tweed area and abroad including several showcases at the Central Ontario Bluegrass awards.

In 2005 The Young Family Band started the Tweed Jamboree in an effort to raise monies for the victims of the South Asian tsunami.

The Tweed Jamboree was so successful Brad and Jeff carried on the tradition for five years.

In 2010 The Young Family Band partnered with The Tweed and Area Arts Council to host the “Alberta Young Memorial Jamboree” in May and October on an annual basis.

Gary and Alberta's eldest son Mike recently retired and will be moving to the area and has officially joined The Young Family Band playing guitar and vocals.
